The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

The Hobbit is one of those movie that you have to be awake and alert going into it.
It’s almost three hours’ length and very slow pacing beginning can very much put you to sleep within half an hour into it.
Having wrote that, this movie delivers in every level in terms of entertainment and visual marvel.
The 45fps technology and 3D effects made the pictures so sharp it’s like watching a giant 3D flat screen tv. The movie really pick up an hour after the intro of the dwarves with Bilbo and when the troupe met the goblins, it’s non stop action from then on.
The hard core Lord of The Ring fans will be giddy with excitement over watching all the regulars like Elijah Wood, Kate Blanchett, and Hugo Weaving putting in the cameo appearances throughout the movie. By the time Gollum made its casual appearance on screen, LOTR fan will be hard press in containing their excitement.
In the end, it’s Peter Jackson’s virtuosity in handling rollicking action scenes that make this movie exciting to watch.
