I had high hopes for this movie based on the many glowing reviews I read in the fashion magazines. And it was doing so well in the first 10 minute of the movie. It was looking so creative and promising. Unfortunately, things goes south fast and by the end of the movie, I develop a new hatred for Natalie Portman’s character for being the bratty, spoiled-by-fame type of b%4ch. It was apparent all those good reviews in fashion magazines only impressed by the costumes they wore in the movie, not the story, the structure, and the annoying conversations. A Darren Aronofsky movie this is not!
