Based on the real life world war II veteran called Leo Sharp who was the most prolific drug mule for the Sinaloa Cartel. The movie started off in 2007 showing Leo and his thriving floral farming business. It wasted no time to fast forward to 2017 when he lost his farm and house which he blamed on the advance of the e-commerce. One thing (casually) led to another, he met a guy who gave him a business card to call if he want to make money as a driver. The movie moved slowly and peppered with cheeky comedy with Clint Eastwood playing off his old age as a ladies man. Supporting casts like Bradley Cooper, Michael Pena, and Laurence Fishburne as DEI agents cranked up excitement to the otherwise mellow and slow prodding movie. If you are a fan of Clint Eastwood style of movie, you will very much enjoy this film. If you expect some kind of drug trafficking action movie, look elsewhere.
