Nowadays, you won’t really know if a movie is good based on its the trailer. Case in point: “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. So it come as no surpise one will assume that The Turning might actually be good based on the mysterious-tinged trailer of the movie. This is where you’d be wrong. This movie is as bad as it come. All visual flair but the director can not thread a cohesive story line together from all those gorgeous cinematography. The ointment that kill the bee is the abrupt ending of the final frame without so much a revelation or explanation. It’s as if the director gave up her futile attempt in editing to finding a story among all the shot-footage. Don’t waste your time with this movie.
